Benzene is a crucial aromatic hydrocarbon widely used in the petrochemical industry. It is derived as a by-product from refinery, naphtha cracker, paraxylene, and steel plant processes. Benzene can also be synthesized through the hydro dealkylation of toluene. It serves as a fundamental raw material for producing various petrochemical intermediates such as ethylbenzene (for styrene production), cumene (for phenol and acetone), cyclohexane, and nitrobenzene.
Manufacturing and Export
Our company operates three manufacturing sites in Iran, producing high-purity benzene. We are among the largest global exporters of benzene, with a combined production capacity of 1,400 KTA. Our benzene is exported to major customers in the US, Europe, and the Middle East. Additionally, we produce 100 KTA of TDI-grade toluene for the domestic market, 50 KTA of cyclohexane, and small quantities of PDEB for both domestic use and export.
